What is Kids Camp?

Kids Camp is an opportunity for kids to learn about the Police Department. Kids will observe and receive law enforcement training from Police Officers. Kids will be divided into teams and will play games and compete with one another while learning about teamwork.

Who Can Attend?

City of QTQT电玩 public school, City of QTQT电玩 private school, and City of QTQT电玩 home school fifth grade students graduating to sixth grade.

When is the Camp?

Kids Camp 2020 has been cancelled due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and assembling large gatherings.

How Much does it Cost?

There is a $50 registration donation to the QTQT电玩 Police Foundation to help offset the cost of t-shirts and consumable items used, with an additional cost of $5 if you wish to receive a DVD of the camp’s activities during the week your child attends. Scholarships may be available through the QTQT电玩 Police Foundation. Registration donations are non-refundable. The QTQT电玩 Police Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, so parents can get a tax deduction for Kids Camp donations.

Who is in Charge of Kids Camp?

The QTQT电玩 City Police Officers and volunteers will be responsible for training and supervising the children who are attending Kids Camp each day.

What about Food?

While attending Kids Camp, children will need to bring a sack lunch and water bottle each day.

What Should I Send with my Child to Camp?

Parents and guardians should provide their child or children with a hat, sunscreen, towel, and water bottle. Your child may get wet and dirty each day, so please be prepared when picking them up.

Please wash the t-shirt that is being provided by Kids Camp each night. Children will be required to wear the shirt each day. Due to hot weather it is suggested that children wear shorts.
